Discussion about Animal Farm by George Orwell

On the international day of all languages of the world, our English group had an open class/discussion regarding a novella. First of all, I’d like to say that the novella chosen by the students, was Animal Farm by George Orwell. Before the discussion, we read the novella and the author’s biography. The book represents the equality in the shape of pigs and Napoleon. It is a bit of a metaphor, considering the fact that this novella focuses on the Russian revolution and Soviet Union, the pigs representing the people and Napoleon being Stalin. The novella indeed focuses on real life events which are educational to those who have not experienced that lifetime. The topics that we mostly discussed were equality, morality, metaphors used in this novel to express the real life people and the authority which all revolve around the novella.
